The Transkei, South Africa. Traditional land of the Xhosa people. Went on a roadtrip there with some friends and had a marvellous time staying in mud huts.

Who needs photoshop when heaven does all the work for you. Glorious JBay skies during a chilli winter sunset.

“Check out that sick wave”

After a quick surf, it’s time to warm up and watch how the pros (or insane) do it.

Winter surfers are mad. But then again I’m a bit mad. Just spent a lovely sunday afternoon watching my friends surf Point, Jeffreys Bay.

Looking out from our little motel room in Paris…. ahhh to be back there again.

Lazy day in the sun with my icy lemon coke.

Edward. Sweetest little boy. I finally got to visit his family. My friend kindly scootered me to the township. Don’t know how I can help his family yet, they are so precious to me, I’ve know them for almost two years now and I’ve seen them move from one flimsy shack to four individuals ones. One for the grandmother and one for each of the three daughters. It’s still poverty conditions but I can see a different spirit in them, one that is determined to make the most of what they have.

What a great lesson they teach.
